Getting Quikturn Set Up
Use this decision tree to choose the fastest, reliable path for your device.
Start Here — Choose Your Path
- Path A: Company‑Managed (Work) device → Try installing from Microsoft AppSource. If the store is blocked or the add‑in doesn’t appear, ask IT to deploy via manifest.
- Path B: Personal / Unmanaged device → Install from Microsoft AppSource. If the store is unavailable, use Manual (manifest) install.
Why this matters: Many organizations block the Office Add‑ins Store and sideloading on managed laptops. Centralized deployment by IT is the reliable route in those environments.
Path A — Company‑Managed (Work) Devices
Heads‑up: On managed laptops, the Office Add‑ins Store or sideloading may be disabled. If AppSource is blocked, have IT deploy Quikturn using our manifest.
A1) Your Steps
- Try AppSource (recommended):
- Install from the listing: Quikturn on Microsoft AppSource
- Or in PowerPoint: Insert → Get Add‑ins (or Home → Add‑ins → Get Add‑ins) → search “Quikturn” → Add.
- If the store is blocked or Quikturn still doesn’t appear, send the manifest link below to IT and ask for centralized deployment.
A2) What IT Needs
- Manifest file: https://cdn.quikturn.io/
- Deployment method: Microsoft 365 Centralized Deployment (Admin Center) or your org’s approved Office Add‑in deployment method.
- Target app: PowerPoint (Office Web Add‑in).
- Assignment: Your user account (or the correct distribution group).
A3) Copy‑Paste Email to IT

Troubleshooting
